The fuel evaporation lab is used to test the evaporative pollutant emissions of gasoline fuel vehicles. It is an airtight room with movable roof and variable temperature, where the HC concentration and weight can be sampled, analyzed and calculated in real time. The exhaust gas analysis system is the Heated Flame Ionization Detector manufactured by the Horiba Company from Japan.
